We had the opportunity to purchase a set of 30 registered Belgian mares from the great MM Ranch in Canada. They offer some of the best bloodlines in the industry, these mares are structurally sound and good minded. The colts out of these mares are ready to go in any direction whether that be the show pen or going to work on the ranch.
Our number system follows a simple format so you can easily track each bloodline and age at a glance. Left cheek you will find the stud letter for each individual stallion, the two number mare iron will be found in the reference mares as well. Right cheek is the year iron for example this would be a 2025 model.
Joker combines strength and substance with good proportion—tall enough to command presence while maintaining the structural qualities to pull. His disposition makes him easy to handle, and being broke to drive adds versatility and practical value. With a good mind and balanced temperament, he represents the perfect blend of performance, reliability, and refinement for producing future generations of Belgian colts that can be taken in any direction. Whether that is feeding on the ranch or trying their hand in the show ring. We are excited to share the foals produced through quality maternal and paternal genetics with this stallion.
At Stansfield Cattle Co., we raise horses and cattle that are expected to do their job and hold up doing it. Whether it’s a Belgian, a Barzona, a Salers, or a Quarter Horse, everything in our program has been sorted down by experience.
We’ve run animals in the rocks of Arizona and the winters of Montana. If they couldn’t stay sound, raise a calf, or take a long day’s work, they didn’t stay in the program. No matter the breed, every animal we keep and offer shares a few things in common.
Stansfield Cattle Co. isn’t just a brand—it’s a legacy built on lived experience.
